We want every engine, gearbox and part from Just Autos to be the right one for your vehicle, which is why we check fitment before you buy. If something still isn’t right, here’s how returns work.
Return window
You can request a return or exchange within 14 days of receiving your order, as long as the item:
- is in the condition it was supplied in and hasn’t been installed, connected, dismantled or modified;
- comes back with everything supplied with it (brackets, sensors, ancillaries and paperwork);
- is accompanied by your invoice or order number.
Faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied items
Report damage or a wrong item within 48 hours of delivery where possible, and keep the item and packaging for inspection. After inspection we’ll repair, replace, credit or refund, and we cover the return transport.
Wrong item ordered
If you ordered the wrong part or gave incorrect vehicle details, an approved return carries a 20% handling and restocking fee, and you cover the return transport. Sending your VIN before ordering avoids this.
Engines and gearboxes
All engine and gearbox returns must be approved by us before they’re sent back, and are inspected on arrival. A unit can’t be returned once it has been installed, opened or altered, except under an applicable warranty.
Items we can’t take back
- Electrical parts that have been fitted or connected.
- Special-order or specially sourced parts.
- Used parts that match their description and aren’t faulty.
- Items damaged by incorrect installation, misuse or modification.
Refunds
Approved refunds are paid within 7 working days of the returned item passing inspection, to the original payment method.
Collections
If you collect from our Pietermaritzburg branch, please check the item before leaving.
How to start a return
Contact us with your order number, the item, the reason for return and photos if it’s damaged. We’ll confirm the next steps and the return address. Your rights under the Consumer Protection Act are not affected.
